	Using the Search Box to Search for Products Tips, Suggestions & Examples You can use our search box to find any product by name or item # on our entire web site. Search from anywhere, the search box remains in the top right hand corner of every page. For best results, search for one word or one item # at a time. Enter a word or item # in the Search box, then hit the enter key or click "Go". Our search engine generally looks for an “exact” match of a “complete” word or item #. You can refine your search with an additional word or item #. However, if two character strings (words and/or item #s) are entered, a product name or item # must contain both complete character strings to be included in the result. Capitalization does not matter. A search is not case sensitive. That is, searching for CASE, Case or case will generate the same result. Singular, Plural, or Tense does not matter. A search for a singular, plural or alternate tense of a single word will generate the same result. That is, Case, Cases or Cased will usually generate the same result. Search Examples & Expected Results “CAS” is not a word in a product name, or item #. The result will likely be “No matching products”. "CASE" is a word in the name or item # of many products. The result will likely be many products. The two words "CAP and "CASE" may only be found in a few product names or item #s. The result will likely be very few products. Review of the Search Results Page If no matching products are found, or few of no interest to you, go back to the search box and enter an alternative search word. If a search result contains only one or few products of interest, simply click on a desired product's picture or name to learn more or add directly to cart. If a search results in many products, you may want to narrow the search. The Search Results page provides links to narrow this search with a single click. Take a minute to review the information provided on a sample Search Results page. 1. The default maximum number of items on a page is 30. Hence, if the search results in more than 30 items the number of pages will be stated. When an additional page is applicable, a page change option is provided on the right side of each page, toward the top and the bottom. 2. Note, how many products have been found and are being displayed. If the number is high, you may want to narrow the search. 3. You can narrow the search by any relevant category level. In this example, if you clicked on "FRATERNAL STORES" link, you can expect the result to be narrowed to 16 items. 4. You can further narrow the search by any relevant sub-category level. In this example, items have been found in 5 sub-categories. If one of these categories is more likely to include your item, you may locate it faster by clicking on this sub-category link.
