Why did this happen?
The Laurerer.com website does not handle your credit card information directly, nor does it determine if your credit card is valid or if sufficient funds are available. USA ePay, a third-party, independent credit card processing firm provides this service securely and confidentially.
Once you have entered your credit card information, the final step of the on-line ordering process is pressing the "Place Your Order" button. When pressed, your credit card transaction information is passed, via a secure tunnel, to our credit card processing company, USA ePay. The USA ePay system interfaces directly with your bank or financial institution and seeks an approval to accept this transaction. When USA ePay's process is complete, the result is passed back to our website, i.e., the transaction is approved or declined. If the transaction is declined, USA ePAY passes a decline code number, from your financial institution, to Lauterer.com. If the decline code is in our list of common decline codes, our web site will return the decline code description.

Additionally, a declined order sometimes erroneously occurs when the "Place Order" button is pushed a second time before the first transaction has time to complete. If your have a slow computer or a poor network connection, please avoid pressing the "Place Order" button a second time for at least a one minute.
What can I do now?
Regardless if your transaction is approved or declined. Our website maintains a record of your order.
If your transaction is declined, you may:
1. Re-attempt to place an order with another credit card.
2. If you might have inadvertently entered the information incorrectly, re-attempt to place an order with the same credit card.
3. Contact Us with alternative payment information via phone, fax or email, or simply send us a check via the mail.
